It’s Not a Fee if it’s Required

Cleaning is one of the fees included in the costs associated with running a hotel or guest house. You can’t charge an additional €20 cleaning fee for a room that’s €46 a night, Warmbad Apartments in Villach, Austria, that’s not a fee; your apartments are €66 a night. I can’t say my Violin lessons are €46 per lesson but that doesn’t include a mandatory €20 cleaning fee, providing a clean room is assumed with even my service and I’m not in the room business.

If a charge is not optional to the service it is not a fee, it’s the cost of the product and you’re intentionally trying to mislead your customers. I’m glad I didn’t stay at your property; your business is terrible and you should be arrested.
