Heather and I Went to Greece!
Kind of a while ago now, but I’ve been busy watching Greys Anatomy and playing video games and compiling time lapses. Anyways here’s a picture of the Acropolis:
We stayed in a hotel in supposedly the rough part of Athens. We never felt unsafe, although I did spot a guy shooting what I presume was heroin into his neck a little down the street. The way I see it, as long as that guy still HAS heroin, we’ll probably be fine. This is a big panorama of the city I took the first day. Next to me while I was taking a picture was a couple making out so loudly. I wasn’t the only one there, Heather was there, other tourists were there, they were not troubled.
Here’s the Acropolis a bit closer:
We went to a museum, apparently Athens is quite old. One of the neat things about the museum and actually Athens in general is occasionally you’ll walk over these glass walkways (even in the streets) that show the ancient city underneath. Like this:
Here’s me AND the Acropolis:
This is a famous temple I can’t remember the name of:
Here’s a regular picture of another famous building I can’t remember the name of:
Here’s a picture I like way better because I make it seem like it maybe goes on forever:
Here’s that last building AND Heather:
Here’s the inside of that building:
This was a street performer pretending to be a statue of Atlas, it would be a better illusion if the globe inflated better but I’m pretty sure he was keeping his stuff in it:
Up on the Acropolis:
Next I’ll either post a new time lapse from Vienna, where Heather and I are currently house sitting AKA watching hours of Greys Anatomy editing pictures and playing Ukuleles or maybe some pictures from Albania or Croatia. Or Maybe more India. Lots of pictures.
